Giving is characteristic of the Christian community. We feel the need to give because we have received so much.
We give as a response to Christ’s gift of himself to us. It is good to give.
Our financial giving is symbolic of our gift to the Lord and those we love. Giving also symbolises our place in the Church, guaranteed by our baptism into Christ.
Importantly, our giving helps our parish community to carry out its mission to serve others.
Our giving helps nurture and develop what past generations have bequeathed to us.
